2019-02-18

On February 18, 2019, PT MedTech and Digiwin Software held a grand ceremony to kick off their strategic cooperation for informationization, aiming to fully promote digital transformation and upgrading.

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Taiwan, PT MedTech focuses on product quality and customer service. To better serve customers and expand its business scope, the company established a factory in Suzhou in 1995. In 2009, to meet the increased production capacity demands of its customers, the company expanded its plant by 50 acres in the YunDong Economic Development Zone in Wujiang, Suzhou. With advanced technical capabilities, modern manufacturing capabilities, efficient processes, and strict quality control, PT MedTech has continued to grow in its business areas, becoming one of the leading companies in its field through excellent quality and commitment to customers.

To better meet future development needs, after repeated research and careful selection, PT MedTech decided to launch the Digiwin T100 project to comprehensively upgrade its information management. The kick-off meeting was held on February 18, 2019. The General Manager of PT MedTech Guo Jiaying, Plant Manager Guo Jiaxian, and core project team members attended the meeting. Chen Cheng, Director of Digiwin Software's East China T-Solution Delivery Center, led the entire project team to participate in the meeting.

General Manager of PT MedTech Guo Jiaying stated "The transformation of informationization, system upgrades, and process changes pose a challenge to our management. However, changing the established model, understanding, and learning the latest management thinking and methods can help us find a management model suitable for PT MedTech. I believe that through the implementation of the new system, we will achieve refined management. Of course, during the implementation, we will encounter difficulties and challenges, so everyone should be mentally prepared. I hope everyone actively participates in the project, offers suggestions and ideas, and finds the most suitable operational model and processes."

Plant Manager of PT MedTech Guo Jiaxian stated "Often, we learn by doing, learning as we go. Upgrading the system and implementing the T100 project means using the latest management concepts and experiences to adapt to the environment and participate in the competition. Everyone needs to reach a consensus, make efforts, spend more time on research, feedback, review, and correction. It is important to note that the accuracy of information is very important. Everyone must ensure the accuracy of information, reduce unnecessary waste, and produce the most accurate data to lay a solid foundation for the system implementation!"

Chen Cheng, Director of Digiwin Software's East China T-Solution Delivery Center, stated "The implementation of informationization is both an impact and a challenge to our existing work. When we need a larger system to support company operations, the difficulties will be more than expected. In the process of cooperation, there will be changes in concepts and differences in opinions, so we need to harmonize and reach a consensus. Informationization is not the ultimate goal of management, but it is meant to bring tangible operational benefits to the enterprise and lay the foundation for the company's long-term strategic development. Let's work together and wish PT MedTech's T100 project a successful launch."
