One day in June 2020, a long-term customer took the initiative to find us and invited us to participate in the bidding for the transferring of minimally invasive surgical instruments to mass production. After careful preparation, we succeeded in multiple rounds of bids and finally successfully won the project. Based on the trust and expectations of our customers, we established a professional team of engineers, which average working experience of the project team members is more than 10 years. Then, the transfer of this product started.
At the beginning of the project, we worked with our customers to formulate cost control measures. Through a series of actions such as optimizing the testing process, optimizing the quality control process, designing fixtures and launching automated production plans, we finally controlled the cost within the range required by the customer. Make its products more competitive in the market.
At the same time, taking advantage of the deep vertical integration of various manufacturing processes in the factory, more than 20 metal and plastic parts of this instruments were produced inside the plant, achieving a large number of process optimization and cost savings.
Moreover, based on our rich experience in medical device development and project management, we have planned the process verification plan, project milestones, and materials required for verification, in the early stages of the project, to ensure that all progress could be completed as planned.
In only half a year, we completed all the transfer and verification work and started small batch production in January 2021, officially announcing the successful transfer of the project! At the same time, the scalability of the production process has been considered in the early stage of the product transfer, within two months, the factory quickly increased its production capacity to meet the maximum needs of customers. Customer was highly satisfied.
In this way, within 9 months from June 2020 to March 2021, beyond customer’s expectations , we completed the entire transfer of this minimally invasive surgical instrument from prototype to mass production. Nothing is difficult in the world, as long as you are willing to climb, we will tackle the difficulties, overcome difficulties, use the accumulated practical experience and core competitiveness to make the impossible possible, and win customer recognition!
